Diya Britto is an indie artist making honest, emotionally driven music with a soft alternative sound.
Beginning her journey as a young singer from Burtonsville, Maryland, writing songs through the silence of the COVID-19 pandemic, Diya now attends the Frost School of Music, where she works to constantly create, collaborate, and perform.
Her songs blend stripped-back melodies, reflective lyrics, and themes of distance, change, and growing up. Drawing from indie, folk, and fusion influences she creates music that lets people in.
With tracks like Regret It and Aham Diya’s style is atmospheric, raw, and centered around storytelling.
Her second highly-anticipated album, “The Knot” hopes to capture the same feeling, and will be available soon.
